China-Head doll, "Frau von Stein", c. 1860, Germany, breast head is made of enameled porcelain, breast plate with 3 sewing holes, long neck, blue painted eyes, red mouth, modelled unusual rare black painted hairstyle: short middle parting with modelled loop, side hair on the face to the neck, the head-hair is under a modelled net tied to a bun,  elaborate modelled hairstyle with gold colored net-ornaments, hairstyle of the aristocracy, bulging stuffed leather body, leather arms and hands, stiff immovable leather legs, leather feet with sewed on black velvet shoes, underwear, lilac, hand-sewed silk dress with lace and rhinestone brooch, this doll is from  a museum and was there called as "Frau von Stein".
