papier mâché doll, a so-called Milliner’s model, c. 1819, breast plate made of papier-mâché, square breast plate, brown painted eyes, red mouth, modelled ears, brown painted modelled hairstyle: middle parting, side hair is tied back behind the ears to a hicg  plaited bun and is fixed with a modelled comb , both sides of the temples with glued on brown real hair curls, typical Milliner body made of white kid leather, bulging stuffed, forearms and hands are made of carvedwood , lower legs and feet are made of carvedwood , flat, green painted slippers, colorwise retouched, the cotton dress was afterwards supplement, repaired part at the neck, 23 cm, this doll is from  the collection of Marianne Bodmer, Rüschlikon, CH
